Susan Termyn is a Representational Artist. Painting “en plein air” (outdoors and directly from life) she paints from direct observation of her subjects. Most noted for impressions of New England her paintings chronicle the ever shifting nuances of color, light, and seasonal change. A naturalist and gardener Susan hopes to inspire viewers to appreciate the importance of our natural open spaces.
Receiving a BFA/Editorial Design from Syracuse University, Termyn pursued an early career in Graphic Design and Art Direction in Minneapolis and NYC. After moving to the Boston area in 1997 she began painting.
